1. Alabama 

Headland Middle Schoolers are choosing to be G.R.E.A.T. (Headland, AL): Studies show that 86% of U.S. cities with a population of 100,000 or more report gang activity. That is why students at Headland Middle School are putting their foot down to drug and gang violence. Gang Resistance Education and Training, better known as GREAT, is teaching Headland 6th and 8th graders a very important message.

2. Texas

 Dallas Co. DA Gets $300,000 Grant to Fight Gangs (Dallas County, AL): Governor Robert Bentley awards a $300,000 dollar grant to try and put a stop to gang violence in Dallas County. District Attorney Michael Jackson says the grant will fund the Gang Taskforce.

Police Arrest 57 In Targeted Drug, Gun Raids Overnight (Chicago, IL): Chicago police arrested 57 people and seized eight guns Tuesday night, in a series of raids targeting drug dealers and gang members. Organized Crime Bureau Chief Anthony Riccio said the department targeted more than 100 people with a history of gang ties, firearm arrests, and drug convictions.

4. Minnesota

Minneapolis. police arrest suspect in death of grandmother caught in gang crossfire (Minneapolis, MN): The phone call that Sa'Lesha Beeks spent months longing for came on Monday. She was being summoned to police headquarters in downtown Minneapolis for an update about the ongoing investigation into the drive-by shooting death of her mother, Birdell Beeks. The news was good, the detective assured her.

5. New York
4 bodies found in New York park near area of gang violence (Central Islip, NY): The bodies of four men, all described as having suffered “significant trauma,” were discovered in a park in a suburban New York neighborhood that has for years, contended with a growing problem of gang violence.

As you can see there are people and states working to end this gang violence, but with Justifeyed this can happen so much quicker. Yes justice may have been served in some of these cases but at what cost? Some of these people may not have lost their life, or people would have been caught sooner had Justifeyed been on their phones.
