Josh Radder, 18, is arrested on Wednesday night, at approximately 8:40 pm, in the 2400 block of franklin street in Manitowoc, WI Police say that Radder held a gun to the back of his ex girlfriends head and pulled the trigger. The gun didn’t fire and they began a struggle, until a bystander was able to help the girl escape. Radder fled the scene by vehicle, threatening and pointing the gun at another teen driving. However, officers tracked Radder to his home and recovered two handguns upon arriving, and he was said to show no remorse and even bragged about it on Facebook. The judge called this an extremely serious offense. Radder is charged with attempted 2nd degree intentional homicide, 2 counts of false imprisonment, 2 counts of 1st degree recklessly endangering safety, physical abuse of a child, and disorderly conduct with a weapon. He is currently held in Manitowoc county jail. At this current time victim information has not been released.
Many times the misconception is that things like this do not happen in small towns, but the fact of the matter is that it does. In this instance Justifeyed would have been able to help the bystander by providing live video footage to the authorities to get help quickly. We would be able to have provided an instant connection to authorities for the girl during this domestic altercation. Not only would this video feed have gotten to authorities, to help the girl, but also to more quickly apprehend the individual which may have prevented him from holding the person at gun point in the car.
Never underestimate the crime of a small town, or the impact Justifeyed could have on these communities.
