What The Boys In Blue Sacrifice For You

Justifeyed wants to officer condolences for the fallen officers below, along with thoughts and prayers to those officers injured. We appreciate and respect what you do for us every day.

In Kissimmee FL, officers Sam Howard and Matthew Baxter were checking suspects in an area of the city for drug activity when they were shot. The officers didn’t have time to return fire, it looked like they were surprised by the gunfire. Police began searching for the gunman and announced  that they’d arrested Everett Miller, who is charged with murder.

As investigators learned more about Miller, they learned that the suspect had posted violent anti-police comments on social media and that no one had reported it to authorities.

In Jacksonville, Officers Michael Fox and Kevin Jarrell were responding to a call about an attempted suicide at a house. As the approached the property, officers heard gunfire inside the home, before officers even entered the house, the suspect began shooting at them through the doorway

In Pennsylvania, two troopers were shot and a suspect killed after an incident near store on West Church Street in Fayette County. One of the troopers was air-lifted from the scene to a hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia and the other was taken to a hospital via ambulance. Both were stable and alert but their names are not being released.

It's getting tougher each day for police officers to do their job, and people do not understand that retaliation is not the answer. As a community we need to be the eye of justice for not only ourselves, but the police officers too.   Understand that there are many more of you, the civilian, than what there are officers. Working with them and not against them can bring about such a powerful change, and that is exactly what Justifeyed is here to do.

As Steve Jobs once said, "Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it." Sadly part of the love of this job for police officers is the unknown, and the unknown can create tragedies like those above.

Justifeyed wants to be the technology that gives police officers more valuable time, so they continue to love what they do as they keep our communities safe.
